Central Utility Plant Boiler Upgrade
A short portion of Campus Drive will be closed to vehicular traffic between Northwestern Place and the University Library from May 20 to July 12 while contractors replace equipment in the Central Utility Plant. Workers will use a crane to lift the equipment into place in mid-June.
Pedestrian walkways will remain open throughout the project, and the work will not cause any disruption to utility services. Parking and loading docks at University Library will not be affected.
The surface parking lot on Northwestern Place, east of Sheridan Road, outside Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary, will be closed June 14. The vehicle entrance to Northwestern Place also will be closed June 14.
