Safe Driver Program

The Office of Risk Management's Safe Driver Program promotes the safety of drivers and passengers when operating a vehicle for University business. All drivers, including faculty, staff, and students, who drive on behalf of the University, should review this program and must complete a Safe Driver Application prior to picking up the vehicle. Applicants will be subject to a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) review and may need to complete the Defensive Driving Course. The Auto Insurance Program through the University covers all authorized faculty, staff, and students who operate University vehicles for University business.
