I am delighted to announce that Hidden Figures by Margot Lee Shetterly is the 2019 selection for One Book One Northwestern, the campus-wide common read program.
Ms. Shetterly will be on campus to deliver her keynote address on Thursday, October 17, in Ryan Auditorium in the Technological Institute building. In the meantime, we hope that you will read her book, so that you are prepared to discuss it with the first year students during Wildcat Welcome.
Thanks to the generous support of the Office of the President, we are able to provide a free electronic copy of the book to every first year and transfer student.
