Search committee to find new leader for Northwestern athletics

Northwestern today announced the formation of a search committee to identify the next leader of Wildcat athletics and recreation. James J. Phillips, the Combe Family Vice President for Athletics and Recreation, will become the next commissioner of the Atlantic Coast Conference in February.

Janna Blais, deputy director of athletics for administration and policy, will serve as interim vice president for athletics and recreation upon Phillips’ departure in February.

This spring, as COVID-19 spread across the country, consumers began making noticeably different choices. Shoppers stripped grocery store shelves of household staples. Hand sanitizer sold out. And consumers began buying more natural and organic foods, apparently placing healthfulness over price. However, a new study finds that consumers also made plenty of choices that weren’t that healthy at all.
