Jane Park is a career coach for Northwestern's Master of Science in Energy and Sustainability (MSES) Program.
Jane has spent over 15 years in the energy sector working on community and customer advancement while on the front lines of energy company operations and the development and advocacy of critical energy policies at the state and federal regulatory and legislative levels.

She has deep experience customer operations, customer digital experience, grid-of-the-future technology, and new customer programs as ComEd’s Chief Customer Officer and SVP of Customer Operations. Most recently, Jane was SVP for Exelon’s Federal Regulatory & Governmental Affairs and Public Policy where she led the formulation and advancement of energy policy at the federal level on issues ranging from transmission, grid resiliency and security, interconnection of renewables, permitting and siting, resource adequacy, and workforce development. She has led and designed enterprise-wide efforts to secure hundreds of millions in federal funding for clean energy and grid resiliency projects, as well as working across the sector on advancing transportation electrification and corporate efforts to operationalize net-zero carbon commitments.
Jane was a litigation partner and trial attorney over a decade at Kirkland & Ellis before joining Exelon. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Harvard and her J.D. from Harvard Law School.
Jane is active on a number of national and local boards focused on clean energy and equity. She serves on the boards of the Washington D.C.-based Center for Climate and Energy Solutions (C2ES), the Women’s Congressional Policy Institute (WCPI), and is a member of the Cleantech Leaders Roundtable. Locally in Illinois, Jane serves on the Board of the Chicago Public Library Foundation and the Chicago Botanic Gardens.
