Theoretical Orientation:

Mx. Migues approaches therapy from a collaborative, culturally informed, and integrative approach to developing a strong therapeutic relationship for the purpose of self-knowledge, healing, and change. He is warm and empathic, fostering a safe environment for clients to explore and understand their experiences. Devon uses a background in motivational interviewing and existential modalities alongside other evidence-based treatments to foster insight and change.

 

Professional Areas of Interest:

Mx. Migues’ provides individual, group, and relationship therapy with individuals across the lifespan with a range of concerns. He uses an integrated model incorporating aspects of Motivational Interviewing and Existential therapies to encourage client’s to explore their selves and make meaning in their lives. Their areas of interest include mood and anxiety disorders, relational concerns, identity development, trauma, poly and kink informed care, challenges and exploration around GSM concerns (LGB, Q, and T/GNC), substance use, and challenges related to phase of life.
