Jarvis L. Broom is the Assistant Director of Student Life for the fulltime program at the Kellogg School of Management. In this role, he enhances student experiences through comprehensive life programs, helping students thrive academically and personally.

Jarvis is also a dedicated member of the USAF Reserve, serving as an Equal Opportunity Specialist. He promotes fairness and inclusivity, addresses discrimination issues, and fosters a culture of respect within the military.

Additionally, Jarvis is the founder and leader of Grupo Capoeira Brasil: Chicago. He began practicing Capoeira in July 2002 and continues it as a hobby, building a community that celebrates Afro-Brazilian martial arts and culture.

His career started at Duke University, providing a solid foundation in higher education administration. He then advanced his career at Hi-Tech Institution and Everest College, gaining valuable experience and insights.

Jarvis holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Mass Communication from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Master of Science in Higher Education Administration and Policy from Northwestern University.
